What food should I eat, to lose weight?

We are discussing all sports aspects here. So lets not get too focused on Bodybuilding diet only, but expand onto new areas too. Everybody knows, that gaining or losing weight depends on our food types and habits. The really important questions are WHEN and WHAT we are eating.
Fat is a reservation of energy, that our body puts aside, in case it is needed later (and there is no food nearby). Article, that we have found in internet "Importance of breakfast" explains and expands this idea. So, what do we need to eat, to loose weight?
First of all - lower carbohydarates consumption. Those are the energy sources, that fat is formed from. But , then again - if you create too much of an energy deficit - body can go into highly "energy-saving" mode , and it will do more harm.
What are the carbohydrates? White bread, pastas, potatoes (especially fried chips), rice.
Sweet things are even more serious: sugar is transformed into glucose very fast, and unless you use it right away , it goes into storage - fat.
How to fill your daily calories then? The answer are proteins. Eat a lot of meat, eggs (not too much yolks, though), fish (especially tuna and salmon. Very healthy). Dairy products contain protein - cheese, cottage cheese,milk,yogurts - eat them, enjoy them.
Eat salads. Our bodies love fruits and vegetables. There are tons of vitamins there, and.. Just go wild.
Remember, to lose weight, you must create a calories deficit. Say, you are eating 1500 calories per day,and sustaining your current weight. If you eat less, say 1200 calories - there is a deficit of 300calories, that your body will have to fill with its own resources (fat tissues).
Of course, you should always remember, that it is much healthier to eat those 300calories up, and burn them with a nice 10minutes workout.
